Long – The Dragon

A Bespoke Architectural Textile

This work centres on a single, powerful character: Long (龙) — the dragon, symbolising strength, protection and vital energy.

Originally handwritten in expressive ink, the composition is translated onto natural linen, allowing the sweeping gesture to engage with texture, grain and light.

Each piece is commissioned and tailored to the precise dimensions of a doorway or window, transforming calligraphy into a considered architectural element.

A balance of raw linen and fluid brushwork, individually scaled to harmonise with its interior setting.
